What is VPN in Simple Terms
VPN is a «secret corridor» inside the regular internet. When establishing a connection, the app negotiates with the VPN server about a cryptographic key and packages all data into encrypted «envelopes». Even if a malicious actor intercepts the packets, they will only see a set of characters.

At first glance, VPN (Virtual Private Network) is simply a «program that opens websites». In reality, it creates an encrypted tunnel between your device and the internet: providers, hackers in café Wi-Fi and network administrators see only a «stream of cipher», don't know which sites you visit, and can't inject malicious traffic. Thanks to IP address change, you also appear to websites as a user from another region, which bypasses geo-blocks or censorship.
In airports and cafés, hackers create network «clones» — Evil Twin. When connected, people give them passwords and cards. VPN encrypts all traffic, making theft pointless.
The provider records which sites you open. With VPN, logs become an empty string: only the fact of connecting to the server is visible, but what happens next is unknown.
If a resource is banned in the country or a service doesn't show content in your region, it's enough to choose a server elsewhere. In 2024, demand for this method in Russia grew multiple times — against the backdrop of new restrictions and bans on VPN promotion.
A company can provide VPN access to the corporate network: files and CRM are only available after the «tunnel», and all data is encrypted.
VPN is a simple tool that creates an encrypted tunnel and hides your real IP address. It's needed for secure connection to public Wi-Fi, protecting personal data and accessing content without regional or censorship restrictions. Choose our service, connect with one click — and the internet becomes what it should be again — free and secure.
